“Which branch do you find more beautiful?” That was the million-dollar question at the grand opening of NLB’s branches in Kotor. Few could answer without feeling a twinge of guilt toward the other.
The adaptation of each branch lasted three months. Every step was carefully aligned with the policies of the Old Town and the Municipality of Kotor, ensuring that construction, material deliveries, and equipment installations were carried out seamlessly, minimizing disruption to local residents and tourists. This presented a significant logistical challenge, demanding meticulous planning and execution.
Two architecturally and constructionally demanding spaces underwent an incredible transformation.
These branches now stand as a perfect blend of traditional aesthetics and modern banking functionality. The removal of drywall revealed stunning stone walls, enhancing the authenticity and character of the interiors. Replacing the aging façade elements gave the buildings a fresh, contemporary look while preserving the harmony of the surrounding environment. Transparency was maintained through the installation of glass partitions, while arched and curved gypsum walls, along with decorative glass elements, added a distinctive touch, respecting the original architectural style.
As the main contractor, we take immense pride in bringing these projects to life, transforming them from blueprints into reality.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire project team at the bank, the designers, suppliers, and everyone who contributed to making this vision a success.
