ANNI Engineering has completed renovation works on the restroom and part of the corridor on the 4th floor of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) building, located at 19 Bulevar revolucije in Podgorica.
The works included the renovation of the restroom within the newsroom area, as well as the replacement of carpet tiles in the entrance area and corridors on the 4th floor. The intervention enhanced the interior through contemporary solutions and a modern appearance.
The RTCG building on Bulevar revolucije is one of Podgorica’s recognizable architectural landmarks and forms part of the city’s architectural heritage. Works on buildings of this nature require a careful approach, particularly when interventions are carried out within existing spaces. Special attention had to be given to the fact that the building houses television production, with programmes that are frequently broadcast live. It was therefore necessary to carefully schedule demolition and other noisy works at appropriate times in order to minimize disruption to regular operations.
The works included the removal of existing elements and installations, replacement of water supply pipes, plumbing and drainage works, installation of new ceramic finishes, sanitary fixtures and associated elements, as well as the installation of new doors. All works were carried out with the aim of improving the functionality, technical performance and overall appearance of the space.
